| Jody Lee Petty If Greensboro native Jody Lee Petty is the future of country music then the future couldn't be brighter and in more capable hands. As Petty took the stage at the Greene Street Club in Greensboro Saturday night it was apparent that his country boy good looks grabs the audiences attention, but it is his vocal talent and on stage persona that drives them wild. From his opening number to his last Petty was on fire, thrilling the Greene Street venue with original songs and covers of other artists as varied as Johnny Cash and Kid Rock.
The main focus of the evening though was to promote and celebrate the release of Petty's new album Ain't Been Myself, a collection of original material that beautifully captures Petty's rich vocals and his innate gift for song writing. In addition to touring in the southeastern region Petty also performs regularly at different venues in the Triad area so keep an eye on the TriadLiveMusic.com calendar for upcoming show dates. -Charlton Wiggins | TriadLiveMusic.com
